MARLBOROUGH, MA, January 22, 2006—ArrAy Incorporated announced that 2006 was a banner year for the company, with a record growth rate and the addition of over 20 new clients.
In 2006, the company grew over 50 percent, as leading product development companies increasingly relied on ArrAy's flexible outsourcing offerings. The company expanded its service offerings, and now offers Product Specification, Development and Enhancement, Testing and Automation, Migration and Porting, Product Maintenance and Support and Consulting services, which are all delivered via the company's proven ArrAy Way methodology.
ArrAy added employees to both its headquarters location and its development center in Guangzhou, China, and the company credited much of its growth to the increasing success of its innovative Dual Shore engagement model.
According to Charles J. Palmer, Founder and Co-CEO of ArrAy, "Our blended, Dual Shore approach brings the best of both worlds to our customers. Traditional offshore body shops offer low rates for software engineering but are not known for high-productivity. In addition, time zones, language and cultural differences can get in the way of doing business. Conversely, onshore contractors provide a local presence with whom software product developers can communicate but they are more expensive. ArrAy's Dual Shore approach marries onshore accountability, ease of management, local communication and visibility with the lower costs of offshore software engineering."
"2006 was a record year for ArrAy," said Palmer. "And 2007 is already shaping up to be another great year for the company as product development firms increasingly seek high-quality outsourcing solutions tied together with real-time monitoring of activities and an established methodology for knowledge transfer and the rapid delivery of measurable results."
